Sometimes it may be necessary to update the username/password for the Sophos Updater. However, it's not necessarily straightforward..

1. Edit file C:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Config\iconn.cfg
2. You can opt to set 'AllowLocalConfig' to '1', which will enable the GUI for username/password
3. And/Or, you can set things manually, should know already know the encoded password value, as below:

   UserName = <domain>\<username>
   UserPassword = <encoded password value>

Getting Windows error 1222?

Make sure that NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users is a member of the local computer's 'Users' group
